Buleleng - The Idul Fitri 1445 Hijri holiday is an alluring moment for domestic tourists (wisdom) to explore the beauty of tourist destinations in Buleleng. The latest data compiled by the Buleleng Regency Tourism Office in mid-April shows a significant spike in the number of tourist visits compared to normal days, which is 58 percent.
Head of the Tourism Marketing Division of the Buleleng Tourism Office, Agus Widya Suputra, said that this year his party segmented local tourists in accordance with the instructions of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy regarding the "Proud to Travel in Indonesia" program. In the program, the output is economic turnover within Indonesia only.
"We adopt the program with our strategy by targeting local tourists. One of them is by publicizing tourism content on all social media platforms," said Agus, Monday (16/4/2024).
Agus also explained that the publication strategy to social media is very effective. In fact, he also utilizes google adsense to target the specified location point.
In addition, the utilization of the Visit North Bali application also has an impact on tourists to access tourist attractions and hotels in Buleleng. With this strategy, tourists are interested in staying and extending their vacation.
"As a result, in addition to tourist visits increasing, hotel occupancy also increased by an average of 15-20 percent. This is a very good step and will be perfected in the future so that more tourists visit," said Agus.
