Buleleng - Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit, the Bali Province Sports, Arts and Students Week (Porsenijar) has been cancelled. In 2023, with the passing of the Covid-19 case and the revocation of PPKM, the Porsenijar at the Bali Province level will be held again in June this year.
On that basis, the Education, Youth and Sports Office (Disdikpora) of Buleleng Regency, represented by the Secretary of the Office Ida Bagus Gde Surya Bharata and the Chairman of Koni Buleleng Ketut Wiratmaja along with the Head of the Buleleng sports club, held a coordination meeting to prepare for Porsenijar in the Koni Buleleng meeting room, Wednesday (8/2).
Met after the meeting, Surya Bharata said as many as 30 sports and 5 exhibition sports would be participated in by Buleleng Regency. Asked about the number of athletes and artists involved, Surya Bharata explained that the estimate of athletes and artists was 400 participants. "We are not sure yet, just an estimate or estimate, because we are waiting for the final quota from Bali Province and see the development of each sport and independent participants," he said.
Meanwhile, Chairman of KONI Buleleng Ketut Wiratmaja said, the support of KONI Buleleng appealed to all sports clubs to work together so that the Buleleng Regency Porsenijar contingent was successful despite the limitations we have. "The heads of the management are responsible for passing their athletes in addition to building communication with entrepreneurs and the government in terms of financing," he said.
